The color orange RAL 2003 has been selected as a market standard to highlight potential dangers and electrical shock risks in cables and connectors used in E-mobility applications.
Triesa has developed PA and PBT compounds (Bestnyl© / Bestdur©) in RAL 2003 with various characteristics. These include halogen-free flame retardant options with V-0 rating, available with or without fiberglass reinforcement, as well as high resistance to temperature and humidity, which are common requirements for these types of parts.
